Background

I started in audit at Ernst & Young, covering roughly eighty statutory entities across Apple and Seagate, and spent four years learning how large companies actually close their books. From there I moved to KKR, where I sat in private credit controllership — calculating partnership equity and incentive fees across five portfolios, and talking directly with the limited partners whose capital was in them. Most recently I was the senior accountant at Evergreen Services Group, a private-equity-backed holding company, where I owned the banking relationships and helped close a $500 million financing.

The thread through all of it is the same: I am the person in the room who translates. Between auditors and management. Between offshore teams and the deal desk. Between what an investor is really asking and what the numbers can honestly say.

The part I keep gravitating toward is the conversation, not the reconciliation. I want to be in investor relations or on the go-to-market side of the finance software I have spent my career inside — a buyer who became a builder's best advocate.
